Access to Recreation Surrounded by Natural Beauty

When people think of Lake Havasu, it is the recreational activities and natural beauty that first come to mind. Havasu Riviera is being designed to bring both into the heart of the community. The development stretches across two miles of Lake Havasu shoreline and includes a new marina and multi-lane boat launch that are already built. Their official opening is currently scheduled for the end of 2021. New city streets will give Havasu Riviera residents direct access to the state park, its amenities and to Route 95 and the city beyond.

Demand Is High

Given the location and amenities, sales in the three existing neighborhoods have been brisk since coming to market 16 months ago. The first one built, Marina View, is sold out. Only three lots remain in the second neighborhood, Wren Cove. The Ridge, the last to be built, has sold 90% of its residential lots. Construction is moving forward quickly, despite some previous delays in materials availability due to COVID-19 supply chain problems.

Zoning and Infrastructure Nearing Completion

The waterfront homes under construction in the two new neighborhoods are quickly bringing life to these communities. Grading work is nearing completion and zoning is being finalized. The Havasu Riviera Specific Plan was approved over ten years ago. Recently filed modifications, however, call for moving the mixed use part of the development further from the water so that more waterfront homes and waterfront views will be available for residences. Upon approval, the infrastructure, including water, gas, electricity, sewage, and roads will be put in place. At that point, building lots will become available for purchase.

The lots in the new Havasu Riviera are a rare opportunity to build your home in a place that gives you views of the open desert, the surrounding mountains and the cooling lake waters. Careful height restrictions that follow the topography ensure protected views from every home site. Some areas have a maximum height of fifteen to eighteen feet, while others allow for a second story. These zoning specifications ensure you can build a custom home, but that the overall neighborhood respects and blends with the land.

The community of Lake Havasu Riviera and the two new neighborhoods for waterfront homes have been years in the making. That careful planning brings out the best of the lake, mountain and desert setting and puts world-class recreational facilities within easy reach. It is truly a community that is like no other; a one-of-a-kind setting to build your one-of-a-kind home.
